The fall of the Berlin Wall meant to Germans the reunification of their country after 28 years of separation, which greatly affected not only the city of Berlin but also its people. To contemporary visitors of Berlin it is extremely difficult to imagine where the Wall was and how life in those years was lived. Of a 150 kilometers long piece of concrete, there remain just a very few traces and the memories of the inhabitants who lived with it.
