News from Nowhere (2010)

Hispanophone Ed arrives by boat from an unknown country to seek his fortune in a likewise-unnamed town that looks like Maryland or one of the Carolinas. After shacking up with the fixer who facilitated his passage and landing a job as mobile-home park caretaker, Ed proceeds to catch the eye of yet more ladies, including beautiful druggie Lola, her young daughter Janet, and an elderly rich curmudgeon.
