Campo abierto (2012)

Open Field: A post-documentary about the most famous contemporary Mexican artist goes chronologically through the last 10 years of his life and work, in ten main sequences. Using diverse media supports (super8mm, 16mm, High Definition Video) the documentary registers some of the most important and spectacular moments in the development of his work. These years could be his most mature ones, in which he consolidates himself as a key figure in the contemporary global art world. It is a cinematographic collage consisting of interviews with the artist, his colleagues, sequences that register his work's development and exhibition, and other sequences in which the artwork and camera simply have a beautiful dialog.
