Ceremony (1975)

A study of ritual and confrontation between an artist and an unknown woman. The film looks in on a night in the life of an artist, exploring the sources of his ideas and creativity, the uncertainty of the distinction between the world of the studio and the world outside. The film experiments in the use of many unusual optical effects, including mixing black-and-white and color on the same image.
