Alex wants to end his life but he does not have the courage to do it, so he does what anyone else would do. He places a classified Ad for assistance. October is a odd girl with her own set of issues. She answers. What unfolds is a beautiful and darkly funny story of two wounded people who discover Maya Angelou is right, "it is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others".
