Unveiled Views (2008)

The author of this documentary went hitchhiking to Pakistan with the intention of recording something different from what the media shows us about countries labeled as Islamic, associated with fundamentalism and veiled by a series of stereotypes about women. For thirteen months she traveled to and lived in Bosnia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. "Miradas desveladas" (Unveiled Eyes) portrays the lives of five women who crossed her path. They, like the author, have chosen art to express themselves. The performance, the cinema, the music, the poetry and the dance are the tools that they use to express in their own way the project of life that they have dreamed.
