Kara cela mantinieki (1971)

The secretary of the district committee, Atis Dunav, is starting his new job at a time when a complex, but, in his opinion, necessary process of resettlement of people from farms to settlements began in the region. Convinced of the unpromising nature of small farms, he tries to merge two small collective farms into one. The stormy meeting of collective farmers once again proves to Dunav how important the candidacy of the chairman of the united collective farm is for them.
