Marathon (1984)

Had there been a telephone in 490BC in Marathon Greece, this modern event would never have existed. The film traces Champion Marathon runners, a Dr and his wife and a Pan Am steward who participate in the Windsor, New York and Athens Marathons. We hear of their problems and triumphs from their coaches, sports manufacturers and medics as they face the challenges of these Marathons.
