Young Antoine and his father Sébastien arrive with their caravan at the home of former guitarist and composer Francis-Alfred Moerman, an old manor next to the Loire Valley. They will record here a CD dedicated to Gypsy jazz compositions by Moerman. Moerman remembers dances of yesteryear and the operettas he wrote. Alain Antonietto, a specialist of this musical genre and of Django Reinhardt, sheds light on the way the Ferret brothers influenced the musician. Sébastien tells us how he first contacted the aging composer and decided to record some of his songs, long forgotten by the general public, with his 13 y.o. son as the soloist in the Esmerald'Jazz duo. Antoine says his plan to continue to play this music, but also to learn classical guitar. Villagers, who are settled Gypsies from the Reinhardt family, listen with emotion how this repertoire dear to them revives under the boy's fingers.
