Lotus (2022)

A familial bond becomes turbulent when a mother and daughter spend the night in a dingy motel instead of staying in the vibrant local family home while in town for a funeral. Their visit turns sour when the air conditioning stops working. With Rene just trying to get the AC fixed, Jaden takes this opportunity to grill her mother on why she's acting so strange.
