He who removes the last traces, becomes the witness of the dead. Judith Kepler (Anna Loos) has seen a lot in her life. She transforms crime scenes into habitable spaces. She is a cleaner. But one day her job presents her with an unexpected challenge. At the beginning, everything looks like a normal job. But Judith meets her own past in the apartment of a cruelly murdered woman. The dead woman had done research and wanted to contact her. And the dead knew her closely guarded secret: Judith had been brought as a child under mysterious circumstances in a DDR children's home.
