La Fontaine (2011)

EVERETT TURNER is a Santa Barbara police officer, whose wife, NATALIE, is dying of a strange and mysterious disease. At Natalie's request, he uproots his family - including their teenage son, RUSS - and moves far from the city, back to Natalie's rural hometown of La Fontaine. Set partially in the exurbs and partially in "the bush", La Fontaine is a seemingly idyllic little town. But there are secrets. Secrets about Natalie's past she's never shared. Secrets about the town and the people who live there, the powers they have, the world they want to create and the ancient forces that drive them. Within the confines of this small, peculiar town, the Turner family struggles to stay true to each other and their humanity.
