Wide Awake Cafe (2013)

Catering food at music festivals is a beautiful but rough experience. While festival visitors join a world of ease and adventures, the Wide Awake Cafe team needs to follow its professional work routine, setting up the marquee and preparing the food week after week, while being affected by the festival life at the same time. As active team members, the film-makers and siblings Sebastian and Anja Karge from Germany accompany the Wide Awake Cafe which has become specialized in serving vegan food, based on ecological products, at British music festivals. For one summer they are going to portray the people who contribute to the cafes success by hard work and creativeness, in a surroundings whose hustle and bustle reflects on their daily working life.
