Atibaia de Congos e Moçambiques (2006)

At the Dia de Reis, a religious day in Brazil meant to motivate popular African-Brazilian manifests that are on the brink of extinction, the city of Atibaia, in the outskirts of São Paulo city, promotes annual meetings that merge the Catholic Church liturgy with that of popular religious traditions, where Congada and Moçambique groups coming from various regions of Brazil are received by local artists to dance, play and sing praising their saints of worship.
