Nightcrawler (2014)

Lou Bloom can't get a job until after witnessing an accident, he plunges into the world of freelance crime journalism. His task involves recording video at crime scenes, but Lou, who notices the sensationalist thirst on TV, goes beyond that and begins to intervene by altering the facts. Without trying to be preachy, the film shows the lack of limits in the world of television news, and Jake Gyllenhaal's intense performance is terrifying.
