The film Salome is an experimental film based on the theatre play 'Salome' written by Oscar Wilde, The voice of John the Baptist - who is imprisoned by Herod, the ruler of Judea - is echoing in the prison, predicting something terrible will be caused by Salome, who is the daughter of Herodias, the wife of Herod. Salome is attracted by John and his voice. She tries kissing him. However, John rejects Salome and accuses the improper relationship between her mother and Herod. On the terrace of the palace, Herod asks Salome to dance for him and will give her whatever she wants for her reward. Salome dances and asks Herod to get her the head of John.
