La Voz del Cuerpo / The Body speaks is the personal poetics of a Martha Graham dancer, entering the creative life in class, performance and the imagination. With original music, American and Mexican musicians, contemporary and folkloric, it uses imagery and visual metaphor to explore dancers' world and universals of dance through Graham's technique, making connections to art, folklore and the natural world. Known as performer and teacher, this is Dakin's first film. English and Spanish language versions are narrated by Dakin.
