Would Jesus become a symbol of faith, if it were not for the betrayal of Judas? Why, knowing everything in advance, Jesus did not chase Judas away, did not prevent his crime? If everything was predestined, then is Judas Iscariot a traitor, cursed through the ages, or a victim? To answer these questions means to try to unravel the mystery of a strange, inexplicable connection between Jesus and Judas.
