Ballers (2015)

This series revolves around the lives of a group of football players, some active and others retired. Spencer Strasmore, a retired superstar, tries to replicate his sporting success in the financial sphere. Others include Charles, a retired player defining his future; Ricky, a highly competitive athlete; and Vernon, a sportsman for whom his family is everything. Created by Stephen Levinson, the series mixes comedy and drama and is led by the charisma of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
