Dawn of a New Day (2014)

The time in 1901 was the turn of the century that presented new promise of hope and potential continuing compromise for the newly freed Negro man in the land of the free. The most prevailing voice during time of greatest opportunity in changing society was W.E.B Dubois in the quest for equality for improving conditions in advanced education, economics, housing, and along with civil rights. Dawn of A New Day is on W.E.B. Dubois journey of discovering the power of the written word of a time where Booker T. Washington is at the height of popularity after his infamous Atlanta Compromise speech in 1895, in which, W.E.B. Dubois later rebutted in an ESSAY.
