Boy (2016)

BOY is a coming of age story about Julian, a teenager struggling to regain his sense of self in the aftermath of a sexual relationship with his stepmother. The film takes place over the course of a family holiday in which the relationship ends and Julian finds himself in a lonely and isolated place. Slowly drifting apart from his family, he spends his time roaming the woods. The camera dwells on details in light and nature, painting a portrait of a boy in crisis.
