History humbly records that Twerton Gurney has staged its annual village convert 599 times. This year is special. Its 600th show will write a new chapter in the annals of rural entertainment. The Earl of Twerton Gurney has returned hot foot from the South of France to act as impressario and compere. The atmosphere is electric, the gardeners from the Earl's estate are on hand - strike up the band.
