Without a Sound (1998)

Thomas is an insurance investigator. He is called to a small town to investigate an arson in which an unknown five-year-old boy was found burnt to death. Meanwhile, he is awaiting a call from his unfaithful wife, a call that will confirm whether or not she will leave him. As Thomas delves deeper into the case, he unwittingly finds his emotions catching up with him. When he wakes up to find he has mysteriously lost his voice, he is forced to solve everything... without a sound.
