Laurdagskveld (1977)

Two children live on a small farm with their father and mother. They are impatiently waiting for the Saturday evening to begin. The evening with all its finery is in the house, but for the grown-ups everything has become a meaningless mess. Father comes home, tired and weary. And mother dryer. There is still a lot of work to be done on the farm. They struggle too hard and alone. Fatigue sits deep in the body. They don't have time for each other. Saturday evening is mostly deserted, but the parents are tempted to cover up and create coziness for the family. It is the children who know and who sometimes get them out of the bad mess.
