Vecherniy variant (1981)

Anna, a teacher, moves to a provincial town and works in an evening school. Here she develops a temporary relationship with a married man who came from Riga. Anna is expecting a child. Her innovative teaching methods do not find support in the conservative environment. The film is a good testimony of the miserable living environment of the Soviet era.
