The Last Ride

A 22 year old US Marine Hero and counter terrorist specialist returns from a tour of duty Afghanistan to his home town of Malibu, California. Corporal Frankie Cochran, who was once an avid surfer, returns to spend his 10 days of leave with his degenerate high school friends, who live like beach bums on the beach. Life has changed for them all when they tell Frankie that days before he arrived home, they encountered mysterious bright lights hovering over the ocean on a surf trip, leading them to be ensnared by some shadowy Internet hacker group with possible ties to terrorists.
