The tale of a man, his mannequin, and a real girl. Maxwell Klein Jr. is the orphaned heir to his father's business, a movie studio that specialized in 80's campy horror films. Now merely a prop house, Maxwell runs it from behind the scenes while maintaining a private relationship at home with a mannequin. When Wendy, a young filmmaker, comes into his prop house, his world is turned upside down when she invites herself over for dinner.
