Something Is Burning (1993)

Abu Ramzi says, while sitting facing his house that lies behind the border line: "May God condemn our times! Between me and my house few meters only." Although twenty years elapsed since his leaving his house during the war of 1967, Abu Ramzi still dreams of returning to his house and village to die there among his beloved ones. He refuses to settle finally in his temporary residence. But his son, Ramzi, who grew up away from his father's original village, chooses another path, to get the girl he loves and live the way he likes. The result is a tragedy for all.
