Well-mannered, considerate, thoughtful - Mathilde, a consultant in a planned parenthood center, always seems to know exactly what to say or do to put troubled teens and young adults at ease. Then 16-year-old Lea comes to see her for a morning-after pill, and Mathilde senses that there's something more serious behind this. Lea finally confesses that she was raped at a party. Mathilde's immediate reaction is to suggest that Lea contact the police. But when Lea says the boy's name is Florian, Mathilde's blood freezes in her veins. Could it be HER 16-year-old Florian, the eldest of her and husband Arnaud's three children? Florian admits that he had sex with Lea, but that it was consensual - not rape. From Lea's defender, Mathilde abruptly becomes her accuser. When the case is dropped for lack of evidence, Lea tries to commit suicide. Mathilde, however, continues to put her trust in her son - until she finds proof of the rape, which confirms that Lea begged Florian to stop.
