The film contains some utterances of the expletives "f**k" in the dialogue.

Based on a Japanese detective novel, 'The Devotion of Suspect X' revolves around a cat and mouse game between a shrewd physics professor assisting in a murder investigation, and his high school friend who is a brilliant mathematician.
