Joey Matthews tries to be a typical 16 year old junior in High school. Unfortunately, he is anything but typical. Joey was diagnosed with Leukemia at an early age. Now, instead of being concerned with girls and driving lessons, he worries about chemotherapy and cell counts. Joey is the story of the inner strength we all have and how we can use it to benefit those around us.
