After serving time in prison through no fault of his own, Pavel returned to his native village. First of all, he wanted to know how Denis Maksheev, his offender, was doing. Someone else's misfortune did not prevent Denis from marrying Pavel's ex-fiancee. Pavel, seeing relatives and friends, forgot his offense.
