We're No Actresses (2013)

Sometimes friendship feels like a duel. These two women, self-proclaimed non-actresses, compete to express themselves, taking turns filming and critiquing each other. Their pistols? The super-8 film cameras of yesteryear. While each misses the mark as an actress, both strive for but also continually undermine their authenticity. But in the relationship between performative and critical modes, does each woman reveal a more genuine self than intended?
