Lady Jocks

Lady Jocks tells the stories of three very diverse female jockey's in the Southern California thoroughbred racing circuit. Known for being one of the toughest racing communities for female riders, Kayla Stra and Chantal Sutherland-Kruse return in 2013. The film documents Stra's first season back as a new mother, and Sutherland-Kruse's difficult journey out of retirement. As well as the year of hungry amateur jockey Cheryl Charlton, who has her first races at the big tracks this year, and is working hard to get her first shot at the big time.
