Every year Australian's use 11 billion disposable drink containers. Almost 30% end up littering our streets, parks, public spaces and waterways. The effectiveness of container deposits is demonstrated throughout the world - including South Australia who have had a scheme in place since the 1970's. Why don't we have this proven, effective measure in place in Western Australia? Container Savers follows two West Australians fighting for a national container refund scheme.
