The documentary explores the environmentally motivated occupation of the forest near the French village of Notre-Dame-des-Landes. Over the past months and years, activists have established the Landes de Rohanne community, constructing several houses high in the treetops and multi-story social buildings. On October 19, 2012, the police arrived for the first time with bulldozers, destroying everything. This scenario repeated several times. The documentary features interviews with activists, provides insight into life in this community, and primarily showcases road blockades and other protests, mostly from November 2012. The ZAD (Zone À Défendre) campaign against the planned construction of the airport has been ongoing for many years, with the first projects to build an airport in the forest of Rohanne dating back to 1965.
