When Brandon and Julie's car breaks down during a road trip through the American Northwest, Julie goes missing. Panicked, Brandon seeks help from the local small town Deputy Sheriff Steve Reiter who is already investigating a brutal family murder. Steve soon discovers that the two cases have more in common than meets the eye.
