Sideman Jamboree

Sideman Jamboree traces the colorful multi-cultural musical beginnings of western swing jazz, the heady days of its wild popularity, the lasting influence it has had on country music and rock 'n' roll, and its present day resurgence, as told through the lens of Sideman Jamboree, an annual desert gathering of now octogenarian musicians who used to be sidemen and sidewomen to the music greats.
