A homeless man by the name of Boris (Paul Dewdney) goes rummaging for his morning meal, and ends up in the back of a police van. His unfortunate life is juxtaposed with the life of a young and privileged politician, Walter Stewart-Smith (Benjamin Murray) As Walter campaigns, he is consumed by his drug addiction. His dismissive attitude crumbles when he comes into contact with Boris. As Boris seeks a new and reformed life; Walter cannot help but waste his own with only a team of people around him to keep him afloat. Throughout the narrative, the two characters come into contact with Londoners that are a product of their culture. These characters alter the lives of Walter and Boris irrevocably as the paths they were on begin to deviate.
