The Middle of Nowhere

The Middle of Nowhere is based on the brilliant new book by Geraldine McCaughrean. The action is set in a telegraph station in 1895 in the Australian Outback. It is seen through the eyes of Comity - a young girl whose life in the bush is changed forever when her mother dies of a snake-bite and head office sends out Quartz Hogg, a new assistant who delights in playing cruel games. But somehow Comity is determined to have the final say.
