See Quan Run

Mayor Jean Quan, A lifelong public servant, and mother to the burgeoning city of Oakland, See Quan Run will attempt to give the viewer a glimpse behind the politician. While her grassroots approach to politics and community will certainly a large contributor to the documentary, we want to dig deeper. Taking you beyond the stump speeches and get up close and personal with Mayor Quan, her family and the team that is aiding her in the rebirth of Quan's Oakland. As her first term winds down, she preps for the battle to retain her post and finish the work she started. We want to see how she runs the city, her family and the campaign trail while being the sitting mayor and vigorously campaigning for re-election. We want this documentary to not only highlight the mayor and her accomplishments and current work in the city, but as a community activist for over 30 years.
