In 1962, Col Tom Haig was told to build and launch the first weather satellite, to support the larger spy satellite program. He was given $10M and ten months. It was so classified that they couldn't wear their Air Force uniforms nor talk about it, even to their wives. His tiny team created the world's first working weather satellite, but it wasn't easy. In fact, Haig had no idea what he was getting into. They are all in their late 80s and early 90s now, and only recently has the program been fully declassified. Now they are finally talking about it. Watch their TOP SECRET adventure, as told by them.
