A hundred years from now, an idyllic family sits down for dinner. Something's amiss however; their interactions vacant and wandering. Each has a digital consciousness, an internal operating system which massages their moods and provides internal information which they use to add fodder to their dinner banter. Call it an evolution from the days of hand-held smart-phones and the decreasing reliance on human mind capabilities. Call it the Singularity. A hundred years from now, the idyllic father at the dinner table suffers a digital stroke. To the horror of the rest of his family, a new man emerges, a man he used to be but someone they've never actually known.
