Call to Direct Action (1997)

The activist documentary, compiled from amateur and television footage spanning the years 1992-1996, showcases the non-violent actions of activists from groups such as the Student Organization for Animal Rights (SOAR) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF), as well as individual protests against hunting competitions and similar events. These mostly consist of TV report clips, but they offer rare footage not found elsewhere. Within them, we witness demonstrations against fur farms, circuses, and interviews with dedicated activists such as Roslyn Cassells and Rod Coronado.
