High up in a remote corner of Madagascar lives one of the World's most endangered primates. Only a few hundred Silky Sifaka lemurs are alive today and the forests of North-eastern Madagascar are their only home. This film follows a family group of Silkies with two new infants, a sparkle of hope for the species that is on the brink. Dotted across their rainforest home is ancient Rosewood, a tree that is highly sort after by the illegal hardwood trade. While the precious trees are hauled from the forest by illegal loggers leaving a trail of destruction in their wake, an American primatologist and a Malagasy guide race against time to uncover the information they need to protect this rare and beautiful animal, before its too late.
