Favela Gay (2014)

A documentary on what life is like for the LGBT community in Rio de Janeiro's slums. It also touches on subjects common for homosexuals and transsexuals, such as homophobia, prejudice, family acceptance, work and society's day-to-day life. Despite the adversities, each person tells how they recreated their own history through song, dance, politics and study.
