The Eastern (2018)

A film about the life of a man who for opposing his father's religion and to escape from doing religious affairs he turned up to language learning and he turns a linguist, but after that, he turned from linguist to a theologian, and finally how he became a philosopher. "The Eastern" is about Toshihiko Izutsu, the eminent Japanese philosopher, linguist, religious scholar, Judaism expert, Islam expert, and Sufism expert. A film about breeding and upbringing a philosopher as Toshihiko Izutsu by multi-culture and several countries such as Japan, Canada, U.S.A, Egypt, Iran, Switzerland, and France. Izutsu's work is famous in the scientific and academic community, Izutsu had plural Asian traditional and thought and he raised an "Eastern Philosophy" which is the subject of this movie.
