My Mother Was Here (2018)

Donna is 84. She lives alone in rural Washington State, with a trailer and a house that are both cluttered with junk. Quietly stubborn, she is estranged from all members of her family except for one-her son, the filmmaker-who rarely visits her. When her health begins to fail, he is forced to step in, first to move her into assisted living, then clearing out her two homes, and finally managing her fading health and finances. Along the way, he explores her lifetime of losses, regrets and grudges. By the end, they find a harmony they never had before.
