His Father's Son (2017)

Set in a much simpler time before mobile phones and social media, His Father's Son centers around three teenage boys living in the Perth hills of 1980's Australia. Emmett is 15y old boy on the cusp of manhood; together with his two best mates Jani and Morris, they are individually broken yet unstoppable together in they're own little world of BMX bikes, crazy TV shows, outrageous fashion, and raucous haircuts. This blissful world is ransacked by a kitten, a cute girl, and his deadbeat father, who decides to bring up the secrets of their past, challenging Emmett's sanity and forcing him to finally confront his inner demons.
