In a remote cabin in the mountains of Puerto Rico, Paula and Mario are trying to rebuild their family, grappling with the scars of a tragic past. Their daughter Vero, an emotionally troubled teenager, struggles to find her place in this fragile environment. When Paula and Mario mysteriously disappear, Vero is left alone and disoriented. Jesús Méndez, a local police officer, takes it upon himself to protect her as he ventures into a vast and menacing forest, unaware that a psychopath is lurking in the shadows, determined to manipulate the situation for his own twisted agenda.
